Let’s Demonstrate Using the Book of COLOSSIANS, Chapter 4.
The KEY word for Colossians 4 is ‘CORE’ (apple core). I know its CORE because:
1. COLOSSIANS starts with the letter ‘C’. All chapter pictures in Colossians start with ‘C.’
2. I know it ends with the letter ‘R’ because each number (1-0) is associated with a consonant letter. For the number 4, the consonant is the letter ‘R.’
So, ‘C’ (Colossians) and ‘R’ (4), create our key picture word, ‘CORE.’
3. An apple core is shaking salt on its lips from a saltshaker. We associate our lips with our conversation. Our conversation is to be seasoned with salt.
The picture will remind you of Colossians 4:6: “Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.”

It’s been very difficult for me in the past to memorize scripture and retain it. Picture the Scripture was a quick easy way for me to memorize one concept or scripture from each chapter. I use to read the Bible before I went to work in the morning. Once I got to work I would try to remember what I read earlier so I could hopefully apply it through the day.
